In response to the Government allowing the reopening of public gardens, Arboretum Kalmthout's garden, plant centre and gift shop will be open from Monday 11 May 2020, however the cafeteria and gallery remain closed until further notice.

Arboretum Kalmthout has been awarded a Level III Accreditation. By achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanic gardens, Arboretum Kalmthout is now recognized as an accredited arboretum in The Morton Register of Arboretum.
